Manhattan

Guion Line steamship built 1866 at Jarrow-on-Tyne by Palmer‘s Shipbuilding & Iron Co. Ltd. The Manhattan was the first steamship built for the line, and was soon followed by two identical sisters, the Chicago and the Minnesota. This image is from an old engraving measures ca. 22 x 15 cm.
