Guion Line steamship built 1879 at Glasgow by John Elder Co. This sketch was printed in an old book and shows the Arizona in collision with an iceberg in 1879. On November 7, on homeward voyage New York - Liverpool, the ship ran full speed into a huge iceberg, proceeded to St. John's for repairs with her bow completely smashed up almost to the collision bulkhead.
