Allan Line steamship built 1898 at Belfast, Ireland by Harland and Wolff for the Dominion Line as the S/S New England. The Scandinavian (2) was used for transatlantic conveyance of emigrants by the Allan Line from 1912. She mainly sailed on the Glasgow - Halifax - Boston route. She had accommodation for second and and third class (steerage) passengers only. Taken over by the Canadian Pacific Line in 1917. This image is from an old postcard.
