Virginian - photo

Allan Line steamship built 1904 at Glasgow by Alexander Stephen Sons. Old postcard. This ship sailed with emigrants for the Allan Line from 1905. In 1914 chartered to Canadian Pacific, and taken over in 1917. The Virginian had accommodation for 346 passengers 1st class, 286 2nd class and 1,000 steerage passengers.
