La Provence

This steamship was built 1905 at St. Nazaire by Penhoët for the French Line (C.G.T.). This ship sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Havre and New York 1907-1912. From 1912 she was used for the Havre - Canada service. This image is from an old postcard.
