Labrador - at Philadelphia 1876

French Line steamship launched by Chantier de Penhoet at St Nazaire in 1865 as the "Nouveau Monde" for Havre - West Indies service. In 1875 she was rebuilt in Scotland, lengthened and third mast added and renamed "Labrador" for Havre - Brest - New York service.
