Empress of Australia (1) - ex Empresss of China (2)

This ship was launched at Stettin by AG Vulcan as the "Admiral von Tirpitz" for the Hamburg America Line in 1913. The name was changed to "Tirpitz" in 1914. Acquired by Canadian Pacific 1921 and renamed "Empress of China (2)". Renamed "Empress of Australia" in 1922. This image is from an old postcard.
