Cunard Line steamship built 1898 at Wallsend-on-Tyne, England by C. S. Swan Hunter. This ship sailed with emigrants between Liverpool and Boston in the time between between 1899 and 1904. Later she sailed on routes from the Adriatic. This image was printed in an old booklet issued by an agent in Sweden and shows interior images from the 3rd class (steerage) of ths ship. Upper left is the 3rd class dining saloon (Matsal), upper right is the 3rd class smoking room (Rökrom), lower left shows the 3rd class ladies saloon (Damsalong) and the lower right image is of a 3rd class sleeping cabing for 2 persons (Hytt för 2 personer).
