Aquitania - hospital ward WW1

Cunard Line steamship built 1913 at Glasgow by John Brown and Co. Ltd. This image shows the ship when she served as a hospital ship during WW1. The Aquitania's lounge concerted to Red Cross uses. All her magnificent rooms were fitted with beds. While in Red cross service the Aquitania transported 25,000 wounded soldiers. This image was prointe3d in an old booklet.
