Aquitania - hospital ship WW1

Cunard Line steamship built 1913 at Glasgow by John Brown and Co. Ltd. This image shows the ship when she served as a hospital ship during WW1. Here she is seen in Mudros Bay. While in Red cross service the Aquitania transported 25,000 wounded soldiers. This image was printed in an old booklet. For more ship history see: S/S Aquitania
