Aquitania - in war paint (WW1)

Cunard Line steamship built 1913 at Glasgow by John Brown and Co. Ltd. This image shows the ship when she served as a troop ship during WW1. In the spring of 1918 the Aquitania carried 47,867 American soldiers to Europe in 9 voyages. This picture was printed in an old booklet. For more ship history see: S/S Aquitania
