This is a picture of the a Cunard Line steamship Etruria, built 1884 at Glasgow by John Elder & Co. The Etruria mainly sailed with emigrants and other passenger between Liverpool and New York from 1885 till about 1907. This image is from an old photograph. For more ship history see: S/S Etruria
