Meteor - at Algiers

Hamburg America Line steamship built 1904 at Hamburg by Blohm & Voss to be used for cruising. Sold to the Bergen steamship Co. in 1926. Became a German hospital ship during WW2 after having been captured. Bombed and sunk at Pillau, Poland in 1945. On this old postcard the ship is sen on a cruise in the Mediterranean - at Algiers.
