Dominion Line steamship built 1880 at Glasgow by Charles Connell & Co. The Toronto was the sister of the ill fated Montreal which was wrecked on Belle Isle in 1889. The Toronto sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Liverpool and Quebec/Montreal from 1880 till 1894. In October of 1894 she was sold to Italian owners and renamed "Pina". Scrapped in 1897. This image is from an old photo postcard.
