White Star Line steamship built 1889 at Belfast, Ireland by Harland & Wolff. On this photo the ship seams to appear with shorter funnels then on many other images. It is most likely that the Teutonic was rebuilt with shorter funnels at about the same time as her sister the Majestic (1). She appears to have been out of service February - March 1903, which could be when she was rebuilt. This image is from an old early photograph of the ship. The original measures ca. 27 x 15 cm.
