White Star Line steamship built 1874 at Belfast by Harland Wolff. The Britannic sailed with passengers between Liverpool and New York from 1874 till 1899. The steerage apartments could accommodate 1,200 emigrants. The Britannic was the identical sister of the Germanic. This image is from an old advertising card. For more ship history see: S.S.
