Atlantic

White Star Line steamship built 1871 at Belfast, Ireland by Harland Wolff. This ship sailed with emigrants on the route between Liverpool and New York from 1871 till 1873. The ship was wrecked 1873 with the loss of 545 passengers and crew. This image is from an old engraving measuring ca. 24 x 14 cm. For more ship history see: S/S Atlantic
