Germanic - at port

White Star Line steamship built 1874 at Belfast by Harland & Wolff. This ship was the identical sister of the Britannic (1) which was also built 1874. On this photo the ship is seen as she appeared after she was rebuilt and fitted with new engines in 1895, her funnels had been heightened and and extra deck built.
