Prinzess Irene

Norddeutscher Lloyd steamship built 1900 at Stettin by AG Vulcan. This ship was built for Far East service and launched as the Prinzess Irene. In 1817 she became the U.S. Govt. ship Pocahontas, 1921 went to U.S. Mail SS Co. In 1923 she returned to NDL and was renamed Bremen (3), and in 1928 renamed Karlsruhe (2).
