Hudson

Norddeutscher Lloyd steamship built 1858 at Jarrow-on-Tyne by Palmer‘s Shipbuilding & Iron Co. Ltd. This ship sailed with emigrants on the route between Bremen and New York. In 1863 the ship was sold to the National Line and renamed Louisiana, and in 1870 renamed Holland. This image is from an old engraving measuring ca. 23 x 17 cm. For more ship history see: S/S Hudson
