Saale - at New York

Norddeutscher Lloyd steamship built 1886 at Glasgow by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Eng. Co. Ltd. This ship sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Bremen and New York. On this old snapshot photo she is seen the the ice covered river off New York in 1890. For more ship history see: S/S Saale
