Norddeutscher Lloyd steamship built 1886 at Glasgow by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Eng. Co. Ltd. The Aller sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Bremen and New York. The image is from an old photo of a painting issued by NDL. For more ship history see: S/S Aller
