Norddeutscher Lloyd steamship built 1890 at Glasgow by Fairfield Shipbuilding Eng. Co. Ltd. This ship was used on various routes, including to the Far East, South America, Australia and North America. She made a number of voyages between Bremen and New York or Baltimore. Renamed "Valparisio" ca. 1908. This image is from an old postcard and shows the ship at Japan 1904.
